Michigan Amazes with the Beauty of the Water Reservoirs

Michigan is geographically unique, because it is formed by two large peninsulas, the Lower and Upper, and is divided into five areas: the Upper Peninsula, the Northern, Western, Central and Southeast Michigan. Major cities are the capital Lansing, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Saginaw.

Nature gave Michigan a lot of beauty, among which the first place is occupied, of course, by the Great Lakes (Erie, Huron, Michigan and Lake Superior). On the territory of Michigan there is a national lakeshore Pictured Rocks, waterfalls Tahquamenon, as well as many islands, the largest of which North Manitou and South Manitou on Lake Michigan, Isle Royale and Grand Island on Lake Superior, Bois Blanc Island and Mackinac Island on Lake Huron.

Pictured Rocks stretches on 67 km along the Lake Superior and covers an area of 296 square km between the towns of Munising and Grand Marais. The reserve is notable for its natural arches, waterfalls and sand dunes, and got its name thanks to the colorful rocky sandstone, located to the north-east of Munising.
